Skincare in Nigeria has a trust problem.
Not a product problem. Not even a pricing problem. A trust problem. And the brands that dominate the space have made it worse. Clinical aesthetics, cold palettes, and language borrowed from luxury fashion have built a category that signals prestige while quietly telling most people: this wasn't made for you.
For anyone navigating a market flooded with options, promises, and near-identical branding, the default emotion isn't excitement. It's skepticism.
SKN Analytics was different, and they knew it. Built on a genuine belief that skincare is a necessity, not a luxury, they'd already done the hard work of earning trust: an honest refund policy, real follow-up after purchases, and results that spoke for themselves. But their brand said none of it.
The visual identity communicated exclusivity. The monochrome palette read as cold. The warmth that defined every client interaction disappeared the moment someone landed on their page.
There was a gap between who SKN Analytics actually was and who they looked like.
Our insight: the problem wasn't that SKN Analytics lacked premium appeal. The problem was that premium was the wrong language entirely.
Skincare isn't a luxury. It's an accessible necessity. And a brand built on care deserves an identity that people can actually feel.
We rebuilt the brand from that belief outward.
The SKN Spectrum, a palette of mustard yellows, soft blues, deep ocean tones, and earth-toned skin references, replaced the monochrome with something warmer, more human, and unmistakably intentional. Sun and Glow signal optimism and transformation. Sky and Ocean carry honesty and trust. Earth and Sand anchor the whole system in real skin, real people, real results.
Typography followed the same logic. EB Garamond carries warmth and elegance, a voice that speaks to people, not at them. IBM Plex Mono steps in at precise moments to reflect the analytical rigour behind the brand. Empathy and expertise, held in balance.
The logomark draws from the natural structure of veins: vitality, growth, the quiet confidence that comes with skin that's been genuinely cared for. Its outward stretch traces the client journey from uncertainty to radiance. The glowing dot over the i ties the wordmark back to that same light.
The result is a brand that finally matches its founder's intention. One that communicates care before it communicates cool. One built to grow across new product lines, new branches, new markets, without losing the warmth that made people trust it in the first place.
